For our second interview I'd like to introduce.. actually, I can't introduce them as their identity has to remain under wraps and if told you they'd probably have to dispatch an agent to come and have words with me (and the chap above looks like he can handle himself..). What I can say is we went to Agent Shave and gave them the same five men's grooming related questions we'd sent to all of our stockists.
Here's what Agent V had to say.
Question 1) Please describe Agent Shave in one sentence. In a fast-moving world where image is as essential as a great grooming routine, utilising the very best products, is a must have for the gentleman of today. Agent Shave, a gentlemans must have!
Question 2) Tell us about why you feel wet shaving has enjoyed a resurgence since the late 2000's? Social Media & the Internet! Online Forums & groups has made it easier to discover new trends, artisans and brands. It is now easier than ever to connect with other wet shavers and feel part of a community. Apps such as Instagram provides a platform for like-minded people to share their passion for wet shaving through photography.
Question 3) If you could give todays gentleman three grooming tips, what would they be? 1. Take your time – never rush a shave & enjoy the moment! 2. Trial & error – what works for others may not work for you! 3. Smell good – every day, no matter the occasion, make the effort! There is nothing quite like a good smelling gent!
Question 4) How important is it for guys to take pride in their appearance and overall presentation? Extremely important. People make assumptions about you within the first 5 seconds of meeting you. If you look good, you feel good, thus affecting your overall personality! A handsome gentleman is much admired within society.
Question 5) Tell us about what you have planned for 2018. Agents have been busy in the field and are currently looking to expand our range of aftershave & cologne. Seasonal & Limited edition specials coming from some of our UK artisan soap makers & the introduction of aftershave balms. We also have the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winners event in February which is set to be an exciting day for two of our agents!
