Borealis Seasonal Tallow Shaving Soap

What does it smell of? Borealis is like returning from a winters walk in the woods. The scent of the forest still lingers about you but is soon embraced by warmer notes from the home. A beautiful and festive accord that opens with Siberian fir and Scotch pine, they merge with relaxing notes of frankincense. Tangerine introduces a layer of citrus brightness and is accompanied by a hint of star anise and allspice. Borealis has a certain touch of Christmas about it.

Please note we consider Borealis to be of a medium scent strength.

Attention to detail: Our enterprise is an intimate family operation where we focus on the detail, quality and aesthetic of our products and we focus on you, our customer. An example is how we use our own hands to blend each essential oil accord. These are carefully meted out recipes that are made one batch at a time and added to the just made soap.

Ingredients: Potassium stearate, aqua, potassium tallowate (bovine), potassium castorate, cocos lactate, glycerin, potassium safflowerate, potassium shea butterate, lanolin, allantoin, tussah silk and essential oils. Essential oils: star anise, scotch pine, tangerine, siberian fir, frankincense and allspice.

Method: Each soap is hand made via the hot process technique and decanted in to wide neck 100mm diameter plastic jars. We fill each jar with approximately 4oz (115g) of soap and then let them cure. After this period we hand clean the exterior jar (elbow grease only) before each jar has its sticker applied to its lid.
