CUSTOMER NOTICE: Empress Rising is currently available for pre-order only. Whilst aiming to have orders fulfilled in time for Halloween we are finding ourselves constrained by various covid related restrictions upon some of our supply chains. In short this might mean your order being dispatched somewhere between the final week of October and first week of November. We will keep you updated regarding dispatch date and thank you for your patience in advance.
What does it smell of? Empress Rising is inspired by the autumns darker, heavier scents and also by it's musical namesake, a song by Swedish doom metal band, 'Monolord'. Stylistically, given we're approaching All Hallows' Eve we also wanted to continue our tradition of using something of a ghoulish design for the respective labels. We hope the Empress doesn't scare you too much!
Taking all of the above we've combined wonderful notes of opulent frankincense, the sweetness of English rose, borrowed the earthiness of oakmoss and woodiness of cedarwood. It conjures something intensely autumnal and of the night.
Attention to detail: Our enterprise is an intimate family operation where we focus on the detail, quality and aesthetic of our products and we focus on you, our customer. An example is how we use our own hands to blend each essential oil accord. These are carefully meted out recipes that are made one batch at a time and added to the just made soap. N.b. Our soap is a thirsty beast. For a better understanding please take a moment and watch my guide on how to lather our soap.
